Restore Your Tooth, Naturally — With Tooth-Coloured Fillings
Even the healthiest smiles can need a little help sometimes. Cavities, minor cracks, or worn-out old fillings can weaken your tooth and affect how it looks and feels. At our clinic, we focus on restoring your tooth’s strength and beauty with biomimetic, tooth-coloured fillings that blend in seamlessly — so your smile looks and feels completely natural.
Why You May Need a Filling
A filling helps repair a tooth that’s been damaged by decay, wear, or fracture.
When a cavity forms, it creates a small hole in your tooth that, if left untreated, can spread deeper and cause pain or infection.
Fillings not only stop the decay from progressing but also restore your tooth’s shape, strength, and function — so you can bite, chew, and smile comfortably again.
You might need a filling if you notice:
Sensitivity to sweets or temperature
Food getting stuck in a particular area
A visible dark spot or hole on your tooth
A chipped or cracked edge
Even if you don’t have symptoms, small cavities detected during routine check-ups can be easily and painlessly fixed before they turn into something bigger.
Tooth-Coloured Fillings at Our Clinic
We offer two kinds of aesthetic, durable, and biocompatible fillings — chosen based on how much of your tooth needs to be restored.
Composite Fillings
These are tooth-coloured resin restorations that bond beautifully to your enamel and dentin. They’re ideal for small to medium cavities, especially in front teeth or visible areas where appearance matters.
Why patients love them:
They blend perfectly with your natural tooth shade
They can be completed in a single visit
They conserve more of your healthy tooth structure
Ceramic Fillings (Inlays and Onlays)
When a tooth has lost a larger portion of its structure but doesn’t yet need a crown, we use ceramic inlays or onlays. These are custom-made restorations crafted from high-strength ceramic that mimic your tooth’s natural translucency and function.
They’re perfect for:
Large cavities or old metal fillings that need replacement
Back teeth that need extra durability for chewing
Long-lasting, aesthetic restorations
Why we recommend them:
Ceramic inlays and onlays can last for many years with proper care, resist staining, and restore your tooth with exceptional precision and beauty.
Why We Don’t Use Metal Fillings
Our approach is rooted in biomimetic dentistry — which means we aim to restore your tooth as closely as possible to its natural structure, strength, and function.
Metal fillings (like amalgam) require removal of healthy tooth structure, expand and contract with temperature changes, and don’t bond to the tooth — which can lead to cracks or sensitivity over time.
Tooth-coloured biomimetic materials, on the other hand, bond strongly to your tooth, seal out bacteria, and flex just like natural enamel and dentin. They look better, feel better, and protect your tooth for the long run.
Cost
Our composite fillings are affordable, quick, and perfect for minor repairs, while ceramic inlays/onlays are premium, long-term solutions for larger cavities.
Composite fillings: ₹2,000 – ₹5,000 (approx.)
Ceramic inlays/onlays: ₹15,000 (approx.)
The choice depends on the size of the cavity, biting forces, and aesthetic requirements. We’ll guide you to the best option during your consultation.
What to Expect During the Procedure
The procedure is smooth, comfortable, and usually completed in a single visit for composite fillings.
Examination & shade selection: We assess the tooth and choose a colour that matches perfectly.
Decay removal: Only the damaged portion is gently removed.
Bonding: The filling material is placed layer by layer and hardened with a special light.
Polishing & bite check: The tooth is shaped and polished to blend seamlessly with your natural teeth.
Ceramic restorations typically involve two visits—one for preparing and taking a digital scan, and another for bonding the final restoration.
Caring for Your Fillings
Good maintenance can make your fillings last many years.
Brush and floss twice daily to keep the area clean.
Avoid biting on very hard foods or objects.
Visit us for regular checkups—early wear or micro-leakage can be detected before it causes damage.
If you feel any roughness, sharp edge, or sensitivity, let us know right away.
A Natural Smile, Restored Thoughtfully
With biomimetic, tooth-coloured fillings, you don’t have to choose between health and aesthetics. You’ll leave our clinic with a smile that’s strong, comfortable, and naturally beautiful—just the way it should be.
